Introduction

Young-jun Lee served as a Director at the Daejeon Regional Tax Office and worked as an attorney for 8 years at the National Tax Service (NTS). During his tenure, he handled over 1,300 tax appeal cases and was also responsible for criminal tax investigations and prosecution matters. As Chair of the Tax Advisory Committee, he provided expert advice on hundreds of NTS taxation cases and also managed tax tribunal cases at the Jungbu Regional Tax Office. He completed doctoral studies in Tax Law and served as an adjunct professor at the National Tax Officials Training Institute for four years, teaching courses on tax litigation and tax quality, and authored training materials for the institute. Mr. Lee also worked for Deloitte Anjin LLC for two years and as an attorney at a law firm, where he handled major civil litigations, including multinational corporate class actions, criminal cases such as fighter jet litigation, and administrative lawsuits challenging governmental decisions. He has extensive experience responding to investigations by the police and prosecution. Additionally, he has provided legal advisory services to institutions such as Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, Korea Aerospace University, and various research organizations. Currently, Young-jun Lee specializes in tax appeal tribunals, administrative litigation, and criminal tax investigations, with a particular focus on financial crimes and specialized criminal cases related to taxation.
