Su-kyung Kim graduated from Korea University and completed an MSc in Accounting at the same university’s Graduate School of Business, as well as completing doctoral coursework in Tax Law at the Law School.
After passing the U.S. CPA exam, she worked at Samil and Samjong Accounting Firms, conducting audits and due diligence for major corporations, IT companies, and banks. She passed the 51st Korean Bar Exam and completed training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute (41st class). She then worked in the Tax Litigation Team at Lee Hyun Accounting Firm, Chungjung Law Firm, and Doohyun Law Firm, providing successful tax litigation and advisory services on major issues, including brand taxation, merger goodwill taxation, and comprehensive gift tax assessment for high-net-worth individuals and business owners (S, H, L, G, N groups; S, B, H financial institutions).
She later served as Director of Taxpayer Protection, Busan Regional Tax Office (equivalent to Senior Officer) for three years, strengthening her network across various fields, before returning as Managing Partner overseeing the tax division at Doohyun Law Firm.
